    Default Scrub plane restoration documentation

Yet another one of my woodworking tool restoration videos. This time it's a historic wooden scrub plane. I tried using fades instead of clean cuts for the object closeup shots in the beginning and in the end. In my eyes this worked well but maybe you disagree.

I liked the video, very impressive and very professional.

Thank you so much for the kind words but really don't hesitate to also express your (constructive) criticism.

I couldn't find anything wrong with the video

To be perfectly honest the tool didn't look that bad to start with

Next time maybe pick a tool that's been buried in a field for 100 years and then accidentally dug up by a combine

I'll need to get out my shovel and search for one

I realize that you probably have a dozen of each of these tools in various states of repair and then say things like "now we apply a grade 3 sandpaper on the torque dump bindle rotor to achieve this beautiful result", then display another one of the same tools that looks a bit better - we get it - that's how all these restoration shows work - I've done them myself - but I think you need to show something more - something special - maybe something nobody has seen before ...

Maybe if I did them naked or let a girl in a bikini do the "restorations" ...

Eva Habermann or Xenia Seeburg would fit the bill
