Default Can not longer use imove

I'm editing in imovie. However I hit a snag. I can no longer do things that I have been able to do before. I can no longer edit the speed. This was a problem before I added a still. I did this to show another problem. I can't drag and drop to change the position.

I assume that you have tried rebooting

The next step is to start a fresh project and try again

Make sure these are video clips and not photos you are trying to adjust - iMovie doesn't work well unless it has video clips to work with

Make sure you have the latest version of iMovie

Reinstall iMovie as a last resort

I've got to laugh. Once upon a time that list of instructions would apply to a PC user and Apple users would snee and respond that the poster should buy Apple, because Apple kit/software "just works".

Ok! If this is on a Mac then the problem must be between the chair and the keyboard
