Thread: Overlay data from Excel in Adobe Premiere CSS6

  1. Default Overlay data from Excel in Adobe Premiere CSS6

I want to overlay some flight data from my drone on top of the video. I've got the data into Excel, each row is 1 second interval and has Direction, Alt, Speed, Battery % columns.

Any ideas how I can import this into Adobe and get it to match up with the video, it's a single 10 minute shot. Dynamic titles? Scripting?

I just want the text for now, but would be nice if I could some dials as well.

I know there's a PC program to do this but want to do it on Mac in Premiere

    Cheers

This might give you some hints. I did that in Vegas Pro 13 with the Vegasaur add-on

Look at the description under the video.
Basically you need to generate a file containing dynamic subtitles, and SRT is one format commonly used for that.
    It's quite a hassle, potentially.

Thanks, looking into SRT, seems to be the way..
