    Default Capturing for newbes?

I want to be able to capture my home videos from my Sony CCD-TRV78E hi8 camcorder it has S-Video out, A/V Out, and something called RFU DC OUT?

Also I have a few VHS's I would like to convert too not sure what connections I would use on that front SCART maybe?

I would like some help on choosing an upgrade for my pc and do you get software too? What is the easiest software to use? Oh and a TV tuner with it would be nice.
    I have around £60 or $100

Please be aware I am a complete novice when it comes to video editing!
    Loads of thanks in advance

I would reccommend a Pinacle PCI capture card, as it will have anoluge and a firewire input ( fire wire for the future )
It should come bundled with Studio as well.

    THen let the fun begin
