    All these 'Put a lens in front of a TV' schemes have one tremendous failing, they lose a heck of a lot of light. In order to keep the light losses low, the lens would have to be much larger than the TV screen size and that's just not practical.

    A large plastic Fresnel lens might be cost effective. I suppose Edmund Scientific might have a usable one.

    all these projector TV's are crap shitty waste of money jobs!! It's true - loose the light. If not done properly you hget soft edges and rarley get a crisp picture - sorry but big waste of money.
