Default Quality issues encoding with H.265

    Hi guys,

I'm in the process of turning 2TB worth of ProRes videos into a format that's more manageable for distribution. I wanted go for H.264, but then I heard about the new H.265 and thought I'd give that a go. From what I've read it's supposed to yield the same quality image as its predecessor while greatly cutting down on size. However, when running a sample in Premiere Pro CC 2015, I found that the H.265 render added a noticeable grey tint to the image - as can be seen here: http://imgur.com/a/w5iUO

I used identical export settings for both formats (that is, the Match Source preset and everything else unchecked).

Is this a common issue, or a mistake on my part?

    Thanks!

No idea about the answer, but to me the H265 looks lest contrasty in the lows, but the sky looks far more contrasty (we can see cluds agains a blue sky as opposed to a uniform overcast look)
