    Default My latest video shenanigans

Had great fun filming and editing a launch event for a new local business yesterday.

    Nice job, Marc.
My only comment would be to lose the cheer (but keep or substitute other claps). It sounds a bit forced/weak (as these things do IRL)

I hope they are well pleased with the result. You've got a great "spring" and "family" feel to it. Very bright and airy.

It's the first time someone hasn't asked for any amends. I got really lucky with the weather and there was plenty of little bits of detail to be filmed. Glad the "family" feel comes out as that's the ethos of her business. I tried to get that feeling without concentrating on filming the kids - if that makes sense! I did this in return for a cookery lesson as I really liked the owner's concept and attitude.

Yes, technically they are overexposed (and some overexposed in post). It's the look I was going for, but then I would say that ! .

Not being a great "technician", most of my videos will fall down on these types of points and I genuinely don't see them unless someone points them out to me. I guess I am focused on building emotion - I get by on limited technical knowledge!

Well done. The only thing I am not sure about is what this place exactly is. Is it a place to drop my children, is it somewhere for me to learn cooking, can I book it for me and my friends, ...

    It's a cookery school.

In fact it appeared to my eyes that they were planning to cook the children - definitely "innovative"
