    Talking Buying advice for techy-newbie!

    Hi all.

    I am making some tutorial videos as part of my MSc and need to edit together:

    1) 2 x video: a screen capture & a video capture;
    2) 2 x audio: a system audio capture and a dialogue recording;
    3) Titles and transitions.

    Can anyone suggest a software package that will deal with all the those elements simply and effectively?
    I would ideally like to avoid Adobe etc due the high price and steep learning curve, but if they are the only option, they do have a monthly scheme for students.

    Looking forward to some suggestions!

    most dedicated video editing programmes are capable of what you require.

    there are even free ones out there

    yes adobe premiere is expensive but there is a "lite" version available for well under 100
