    Default Displaced Pixels

A friend made a video of our daughters wedding and one of the tapes on playback has displaced and moving pixels in two stripes down the picture. When you pause it the picture is fine. Can anyone tell me if there is any software I can use or any way I can solve this problem and why it happened in the first place? I use studio 8 for editing. :(

    Hmmm, could be

    1. Dirty Tape heads at the record stage

    2. Misaligned heads

    3. Dodgy Tape

Try the tape in another Camcorder and see if the problem persists.

    Good luck
