Default How to make a real background for video

Hey guys! First poster here so go easy on me

I have a YouTube channel that I'm going to be re-branding, and I want to have a nice solid background for all of my videos.

Now I have a green screen that I use for some projects, but I want something that I can just leave up in my (studio) apartment and use whenever I need to.

I'm looking for something like the backgrounds used in these videos:

From looking at them, they just look like painted walls but I'm not 100% sure. I was thinking of getting some type of fabric/paper still on the roll that I could attach to a wall and pull down whenever I needed it.

Like I said, I'm a rookie at this so let me know what your thoughts are! Cheers!

That being said, does anyone know specifically what material it is?
