    Default Symbol Fonts

Found an interesting font collection with all the DVD symbols, dolby dts, vhs, surrounds, copyright, etc etc etc.
Let me know if you want a copy.

    959kb zipped up.

EDIT - scratch that, download it here

Question: If I don't pay the DVD/VHS replication tax I am not entitled to use the official logo of the "thing", I can only write "DVD Video" or whatever on the presentation case, right? Then, no matter if the symbol was taken by me from a computer font available for free on the Internet, I'm as liable as it gets for using it, right?

I really dont have an answer. But you surely can use it for your own `interest` use.

Or you can always delete it from your drive and never see it again.

That sounds fair, but then again, if I do it just for "my own interest" then I don't really need that symbol or a presentation case at all to know the content of the video. And if I do it for a client, he's not gonna notice like "Hey, that's not the official DVD symbol!!!" still I prefer using it no matter the consequences, it just looks good

Okie dokie... I didn't want to sound so harsh (in fact I was only harsh to myself)!
But I thought some people here do video as a sort of a business and not just 4 fun and they should be aware of what they do...

Nice find Only just had time to look at them (I find myself with time on my hands after a) relying on public transport b) not having my mobile phone and c) not knowing where the hell I was supposed to be - I swear, if I'm not being paid, I'm the most disorganised perso).

    Anyways, yes they are useful!
