Thread: Please help with identifying editing software

  1. Default Please help with identifying editing software

    Hello.
Could anyone here please help me with identifying editing software used in the video below? I am looking for software used for the subtitles effect through the video, not interested in the intro.
    Thank you.

If what you mean by subtitles are the sort of captions that pop up every now and then on the right hand side (eg at 0:35) any capable editor would be able to do that using just about any editing software.

Yes, that's what I mean. But I thought this kind of subtitles with the violet graphics (eg at 0:35) were sort of trademark of some editing software which could be easily plugged in. Aren't they? Thx.

Possibly, though I've not seen them before.

    Anyone knows, please?

OK, it's not perfect but I've just knocked this up in HitFilm Pro 4. OK, it took me a couple of hours, but I'm hardly proficient with the software - certainly not for these sorts of things.
The good news is HitFilm Express is FREE and everything I did here can be done in that.

If you get hold of HitFilm I can send you the project then you can see how it works and adapt it to suit yourself.
