    Default XA20 movement in left and right corners of my video

    Hello ,

    I recently bought a XA20 Canon camcorder,as you can see from my footage from the below link

    When i am fully zoomed in and pointing at the sky i seem to be picking up something moving at the top edges of the video, please advise.

    Looks like vignetting. Are you using an optical or a digital zoom? Similar issue at the link below related to image stabilization.

    Thanks for the reply,

    I am using optical zoom as i have the digital zoom turned off.

    looks like vignetting to me !
    perhaps you could look at some reviews of the camera to see if it is prown to it

    Yep. Just Google XA20 and Vignetting and you will come up with several pages identifying precisely what you have here.
    It's a great camera, but part of knowing you camera is knowing its limitations and learning to work within them.
