Thread: Clip missing DVDA

  1. Default Clip missing DVDA

Getting the hang of all this now but in latest project have edited and rendered to DVDA where the final clip
(The End) is missing, any ideas please.

Are you sure the whole project got rendered? Maybe there was a loop region on the timeline and you had "Render loop region only" ticked?

Thanks for the reply vkmast, but as usual it was my fault, this time the (The End) clip was animated and I had it on the title or overlay track. Putting it on the video track cured the problem.

    Thanks again, Roy

That is odd Roy. The track somehing appears on shouldn't make any dufference - unless, of course, that track was set to "mute"

Yes, the Movie Studio default "title" and "(video) overlay" tracks are actually exactly the same as the "video" track. You can assign any name to those tracks (double-click or right-click in the scribble strip) and that does not change the way the tracks work. MSP 13 even dropped the track named "video overlay" from the default template altogether. As of v 12 you can insert up to 20 video and 20 audio tracks as needed.

Thanks a lot for your help, its worked for me this time so I'm happy, will look at this again and hope it works next time.
