Default Easy way of splitting a long clip into shorter clips of equal length?

Basically I would like to split a video clip of say 10 minutes into 10 equal parts of 1 minute in length (so I would end up with 11 files, one large file and 10 small files). Does anyone have any software recommendations or tricks that allow me to do this in as few steps as possible?
Preferably something that is compatible with MOV files.

    Default

Though I had hoped someone might beat me to it, I kept on searching for a solution and found Pavtube Video Converter. Sadly not a free program but it does enable me to split a long video in an 'X' number equal parts. I can also divide the clip into sections of a specified size or specified length and it supports lots of different codecs.
Anyway I thought I'd answer my own question in case anyone else was looking for a similar solution
