Hi all, I'm Paul, a very amateur filmmaker. Up until recently everything I have done has been simple 2-3 minute clips, mainly smartphone footage with basic editing.
Recently I became the presenter of a sports audio podcast and we have now moved into vodcasts as well, that we publish on YouTube.
Our first episode was a series of still images with intro music and a vocal track. I had issues with a flickering DOG that I never found the cause of.
Our second episode has just been published and it was recorded live in a sports bar, with interview footage cut into it. It was far from perfect but a lot more of what I am after from a vodcast.
My 'gear' consists of
Canon EOS 500D
SJCAM SJ4000 WiFi Edition
Thomann T.bone MB85 Beta
Behringer Xenyx 502 mixing desk
I use my Toshiba Satellite laptop to record the audio into Adobe Audition and the shows are produced using Adobe Premiere.
I'm hoping to get some good advice on making my shows better, more professional looking, and to find solutions to some things I would like to create within the shows.
Anyway, just wanted to say Hi and introduce myself.
