Thread: importing videos in iMovie

    Default importing videos in iMovie

when importing movies to edit in my iMovie program, i am being given two options: "large - 960x540" or "full - original size".
so far i've been recording in 1280x720 HD and importing and editing in "large - 960x540" has worked better than importing at full / original size (the images would be unclear with the latter) but i'm planning to purchase a higher resolution camera and record at 1920x1080 HD. in this case, what should I import the movies: large or full original size?
i'm confused about these two options since the full size should be better - yet it isn't.
any advice would be appreciated. thanks.

    Default

Full size IS better, but whether your computer can edit / play it or not is another matter.
