I wanted to make sure this had not been posted on here already and it does not seem to be. Lifehacker explained all in an article posted a couple of years ago, so to some of you this may not be anything new at all.
Despite these being outdated applications, they appear to work perfectly on modern machines. This seemed to be an unintentional mistake on Adobe's part, but a wonderful, wonderful mistake. As a filmmaker I was obviously drawn to After Effects and Premiere.
