    Default Basic video editing software

    Hello
Is there any software that I can use to trim video files easily? For example I have a one minute long video and want to 'keep' two sequences from the video, lets say from 00:15 to 0:21 and from 00:43 to 00:57. Is there any software that is able to do this task in a simple way ?

Windows Movie Maker or iMovie that came with your computer. Well Windows Movie Maker has to be downloaded as part of Windows Essentials but it's free from Microsoft.

Wow, that seems a really long way about doing things. Why not just select the in/out before you even add it to the timeline?
