    should presenter face the camera or be off axis ?

    I had a bit of an argument with a guy that I filmed who didn't want to come across as preachy so he wouldn't face the camera, he wanted it to look interview style. If you are a presenter then you are talking directly to the audience straight down the lens BBC style is best. IMHO.

    Agree with Midnight. If you are presenting, you face the camera. If you are talking about a subject to a documentary maker, you go off axis.
    A presenter going off axis looks shifty.

    Well it's In the can do to speak.
    Despite my best efforts the talent did his own thing.
    Guess that's what you get working g with non professionals ... Not that I'm a professional..
    Anyways, got plenty of footage do should be able to cobble something together with it.
