    Default Windows media player problemo...

Another little issue! Filmed myself playing a bit of guitar this evening, and when I watch the raw footage in windows media player, the audio keeps cutting in and out when the laptop volume is turned up. The recording was a hell of a lot louder than I thought, obviously the mic on the camcorder must be really sensitive.

The issue only seems to happen when I turn the volume up on the laptop, and I tried using my external laptop speakers, but same issue occurs so its not my laptop speakers that are busted.. Any ideas?

You need to monitor audio levels while recording and make sure they only rarely kiss the red zone

once your audio is recorded properly and you are editing a bunch of tracks together, you need to do the same thing again

After reading your other post, check HP for an update for your laptop. Almost every HP laptop I've used suffers from that audio glitch.
