The shots were good but definitely "by the book"

    the sound was ok

the band members should interact more instead of each being in their own space

By the book but missing close ups to get involved/connect with the members, shot basically wide with no real variance
The side shot on the actioncam/widecam is the nearest we get to CU

    Sound good

Beat me to it on the lack of CU/ECU - not just the faces, but fingers on fretboards, feet on kick drum pedals etc. Adds a dimension. Do it!

Thanks guys. Video was the third priority after the live performance and the audio recording. I edited it in Vegas 6.0 on a dual 3g Pentium with 1g RAM.

The primary purpose is to demonstrate the band's live performance competence. I wanted the attention on them, not on my editing, so "by the book" seems about right. But a closeup cam is already on our to-do list for next time.

I'm just the sound guy, not a director. They do what they do and I merely present it in the best light possible.

I'm happy to report that this video helped the band get an audition for a big summer festival in Denver.
