    Default DVD export

So exporting my video for DVD. But when exporting everything looks so soft and compressed. Can't understand why? Anyone advice. Using a bit rate of about 8.

I you're used to seeing your footage in HD and now you're looking at it on DVD it's going to look horrible. That's just how it is.

Give yourself 48 hours of NOT seeing the video, then look again at just the DVD sat at an appropriate distance from a TV (not sat up against a monitor or pixel peeping) and maybe you'll not feel so bad.

DVD is not HD and never will be. Worse still, if you're exporting for DVD widescreen then you have a double whammy because not only did you lose resolution but the pixels are now stretched and are no longer square.
