Exclamation Adding 3d City Elements into Real City Footage

    Hey everyone,

I don't know if there are any Gotham fans here, but I was checking their Special Previews and just got amazed in how they add some 3d structures and effects to make there scenarios more deep and awesome.

Well, here's the example I'm talking about:

I'm looking forward to know more about this effect:

    - What's that tool called?
    - How can I get started?
    - How hard is it and how long does it take to achieve a realistic look on it?
    - What software do I need?

Btw, I've some knowledge on Adobe After Effects CS6, and a few on 3ds Max modelling and I'm starting using Element 3d, wonder how it helps.

    Waiting for reply.
    Thanks a lot everyone.

The video effect can be done in After Effects or blender. 3D modeling could be done in blender, maya or nearly any other 3d editing software.
