Default Trying to find the elusive 60fps editing method

    Hi all,

I've been trying to find the answer to this for a while now and I'm quite surprised how hard it has been to find.

I upload the odd gameplay clip here and there to youtube or dailymotion. Currently neither of them offer 60fps, although it's coming eventually from youtube.

However, I've found clips like these two:
    http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xys...tty_videogames
    http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xze...fps_videogames

Both of these clips are clearly running at a framerate higher than 30fps (or appear to be).

I'm trying to find out if this is editing trickery to maintain the effect of 60fps, or just a method of encoding?

Both of the videos are uploaded by users claiming to use Premiere and one of them also uses vegas and a array of other software.

    Any ideas?

p.s. I have Premiere and Vegas

AFAIK, the playback fps is set by the website's video steaming software. Not from the fps in the original uploaded file.

hmmm now that's what I thought, but if I upload a 60fps clip to the same website, it's immediately visible that it has been re-encoded to 30fps

I've tried uploading the original file, which was record at 60fps and also tried re-encoding it use various different formats and bitrates

I just can't work out how people manage to achieve results like the examples above
