Thread: PPCS6: Black Bars / Tearing when Exporting

  1. Default PPCS6: Black Bars / Tearing when Exporting

    Good Morning All,

I have been trying to export a video that I put together in to the H.264 Youtube 1080p 29.97 Preset in Premiere Pro CS6, When I do there are frames every few seconds that have had large black bars placed across them. See image below.

I have not had this issue on previous exports of other projects, I have tried exporting this same project multiple times and the bars always appear in different frames throughout the exported file. I have also tried exporting it using the media encoder and it has the same issues.

I would appreciate any advice on solving this.

    Many Thanks,

    TRWCJ.

The first thing to do is erase all your cache files. Sometimes they get corrupted in Pr and erasing them can fix this problem.

Thanks I will give this a go this evening.

One of my colleagues also suggested turning off CUDA acceleration also - which is something that I had recently turned on to try and speed up my renders. So I will give that a try as well.

    Cheers.

Certainly both are worth trying. i've had CUDA issues before too.

If things are still a problem, another solution I've found is to copy all the edited clips and paste them to a completely new sequence and then export again.
