Default Matching two audio recordings. One voice close to mic, one not

    Hey Guys,
I have two recordings of voices that are supposedly in the same room. One was recorded in a big room with the mic a little far away, and the other with the mic close to someone's mouth in a voice over. I was able to use a graphic EQ on the voice over and add reverb to it so it can better match the recording of the voice in the big room. However it still could be improved.

Is there now something I could do to the recording in the big room to make it sound like the voice is closer to the mic?

    Thanks a lot!

It's not so easy. Removing reverb should be the last resort, but there are a couple of plug-ins that can help.

    The cheapest one I found was de-verb. ( http://spl.info/de/produkte/analog-c...s/de-verb.html )

There is a trial version available.
