Default How do I add timer to my video?

Here is an example of a 15 seconds video. I want to add exactly the same timer/counter to my video. How can I do this?

That's called timecode and almost all professional NLEs have this as an effect.

Do you have any idea what is this program used in that video?

No, because it won't matter. Can you tell me looking at a Hollywood movie what software was used to edit it? The software should make no difference really.

I have created timecode overlays in lots of different software packages including FCP, FCPX, Motion, Premier Pro & After Effects. The red 'Rec' and red dot may be additional effects / overlays or may happen to be part of the same effect that has options (lots of FCPX / Motion templates have such options).

I'm sure both Avid and Vegas have timecode too.

I guess the real question should be - What Software Do You Have?
