Thread: Combining projects in Movie Studio 13

  1. Default Combining projects in Movie Studio 13

    Hi All,
I'm editing a short, amateur documentary I shot in Movie Studio 13 (my first time at all of this). For clarities sake I want to edit each scene as a separate project and then combine them all together towards the end. As an experiment I tried copy and pasting between projects but can't seem to do that. Is it possible to combine them in another way or am I asking to much of this program. If so what is the cheapest version of the Vegas editing programs that would enable me to do this?
    Thanks,
    Ben

    Hi Ben,

You can copy and paste between projects (at least you could in previous versions)
The secret is to have two instances of Movie Studio open. Open your "from" project and then open Movie Studio again and open you "to" project within that instance. You should now be able to cut and paste between the two projects.

Aha! Opening two windows made the difference. Thanks Tim
