Default Exporting AE footage back to Premiere

Ok, no doubt this has been asked and I have missed it, and will be shouted at for not looking, but i'll ask all the same.

I do rotoscoping (lightsabers) and have been experimenting with making film footage 'noir' by using after effects. This is all well and good, but when i transfer it back to Premiere, I always find the quality is not as good as before, and that it's running slower. Has anyone any suggestions for exporting footage back to premiere, and still keeping it's original quality.

I'm far from expert in this matter but I suspect thosae that are will have trouble answering your question. Details please. How are you doing the 'transfer' you mentioned. Is this an export from AE and then import of the file (what format?) into Premiere as a new asset? If so then it;s likely your export settings in AE.

Also, in what way is the quality not as good? Pixelisation, artifacts...??

Man I had the same problem for ages and found the best way to do it is to go Composition-Add to Render Que, Make sure that the output module is set to lossless this ensures that the best quality is met. giv that a shot, works for me. cheers
