    Default Remote recording on Canon

Is there a way of remote controlling my Canon 7D using either my iPhone or my iPad to video record.

I am trying to get around the issue of the Canon only recording for 12 minutes. I want to be able to set my camera going and know that i can monitor the time then use either er my iPhone, iPad or some other device from distance to set the camera recording again.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks

    Andy

    AFAIK, not without a cable.

Magic Lantern has an option to automatically start recording again if stopped.

It's called CamRanger. Works with iPhone and iPad and gives you remote control of video & stills recording.
