Default Windows Movie Maker, Novice Needing A Bit Of Help

    Hello everyone,

I got Windows Movie Maker 2012 to try out an experiment on, and so far I'm having difficulty. I'm trying to add pictures to specific parts of the original video. Do I need to disassemble the video itself into clips, or is there a way to go frame-by-frame and add in new frames that consist of the pictures?

Essentially I'm trying to add frames to an existing video, in the form of pictures (.jpeg)

Hopefully this is a simple problem that I'm just noobish enough to not understand!

    Cheers all,
    Drame

From memory (I can probably confirm this some time soon, but I don't have it on my own PC)
You need to split the clip where you want to insert the image, then simply drag the image over the general region of the split. I'm pretty certain the image will just be inserted there when you release the mouse.
