I have recently purchased a Canon 60D. As far as the video side of it is concerned, I've already made up my mind on lenses, I have ML installed, and such, etc. etc. So what I'm looking for is audio advice. I have a Sennheiser Me2 w/ Trans. and Receiver already, and I have decided after much research to purchase a Rode NTG-2 Shotgun Mic as well. In the near future I am looking to purchase another set of Me2's, so essentially I need to be able to record 3 different audio sources at once.
So, to sum it up, it's no secret DSLR's are terrible with audio (creating noise and such), even with ML; so I'd like to upgrade to a portable recorder. Currently I am looking into the Zoom h4n or the Tascam Dr. 60D. I would like to know what you might think of these 2 products, as well as what you might recommend otherwise. Whatever your recommendation is, it must be XLR friendly (The Rode NTG-2 is XLR). Can't wait to hear what you all have to say!
