    Default Sony camcorder dcr-trv33e is not Capturing anything

    Can anyone help me fix my handy cam problem.

    my sony camcorder (dcr-trv33e) was working fine until one fine sunday it went totally black. I cannot should anything from my camcorder niether video nor picture.

    I HAVE TRIED THE RESET BUTTON AND I TOOK OUT THE BATTERY FOR 12 HOURS AND STILL NOT WORKING

    CAN ANY GIVE A SUGGESTION.?

    Its a long shot.

    But try disconnecting all power whilst the camera is in PLAY/VCR mode. Leave for a couple of minutes and retry.

    The only time I've ever had any issues getting decent footage from my TRV-33E it proved to simply be dirty tape heads.

    Run a tape head cleaner through it a couple of times just to make sure it's not that.
