Thread: Avi or Mpeg?

    Default Avi or Mpeg?

Several minutes of video in 320x comes out reasonable, but using Adobe Premiere 720x videos coming out pretty big file wise. Whats most popular or universal method to use that gives a larger viewing size than 320x..

Using 720x vid quality not good as I'd like quality wise & huge file, any ideas best format to save for upload using FTP to website? Keeping decent file size and good quality..for high speed ISP downloads of file.

And I'll continue to bleet on: the only definitive way to reduce file sizes at a given res for any given codec is to change the bitrate; Changing the res at a given bitrate for a given codec will not change the file size.

The lower the resolution, the lower the bitrate needed for any given percieved quality when played back at the native resolution.
