My first post here so I hope this is the right forum - I'm sure I'll be moved if not
My company (me, basically) needs to make a few simple short promotional films via a webcam for email/youtube etc. for an upcoming product launch.
As a complete beginner, I have played about with NCH Videopad Video Editor unlicensed 'sample', which is about the level of my ability, and does what I need (adding voice over/music/subtitles and so on).
I've noticed on play back of the finished movie that the contrast on a few frames goes off scale, and where I have shortened the original film and stopped the narration voice over, there are some annoying 'clicks'. Artefact of the editing, problem with the software or my system?
I would anyway prefer to buy some s/ware 'over the counter' so to speak, but am not sure which product to choose.
I'm looking at Movie Magic Edit Pro or maybe Pinnacle Studio 16. (Like I said: budget!)
Does anyone have any recommendations over these two? Any issues that anyone knows of?
Is there anything better out there for similar price range?
Any advice would be appreciated.
The editing would be done on a Toshiba Satellite Pro / Vista / SP2
Intel 2Duo / 2GB RAM
Each film is planned to be ~1min long
