    Default Am I thinking too much into this? (Questions on processors)

    I'm currently customizing an HP Envy 15 laptop suited for video editing. I will be utilizing the current versions of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Elements. I opted for the second best processor they offered which was the 4th generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ I would have got the 4th generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4900MQ but it was $350 more and out of my budget. Will I
    I be ok with keeping the processor I mentioned? I got the most space available and the best graphics card they offered for an extra $70.

    Pat this point any advice would help. I feel like I went way overboard...

    You will be fine and made a good decision.

    Forgot to add: to really maximise performance, you would place your video files on a seperate drive to you OS/programmes. I possible, you might want t take advantage of the mSSD slot to use as your OS drive. Worth investigating to see if this is an option as it really does improve things.
