Thread: Capturing VHS with Premiere Pro

  1. Default Capturing VHS with Premiere Pro

OK....I've bought a Dazzle 150 DVC and I'm very please so far with the software Pinnacle Studio 8 with regarsd to capturing the VHS, which I have the Dazzle connected to. Unfortunatly I'm not happy that when i started to try and adjust the colour and contrast settings, the software informed me that I have only got the Quickstart edition.

I have got Premiere Pro which I love, but so far, I cannot get it to capture my VHS. Anybody have and experience capturing VHS via Premiere Pro?

I do not think you can. You may need another program and some more hardware. http://www.matrox.com/video/home.cfm This is what we use at church to capture VHS. I do not think it is possible in Premiere and if so I am not sure how to do it.
