Default Installing Asian Languages in Premiere

For a job I'm doing, I need to put subtitles in Chinese. I have no idea how to read or write Chinese, but my contact has given me a script to follow for the video and where to put them. This, however, is causing a problem. While Microsoft Word seems to understand all the Chinese characters, Premiere doesn't. It only puts in SOME of the Chinese characters and makes the others into invalid squares.

I'm not exactly sure what I need to do to fix this as I'd expect Premiere would run universally off my system's language packs, but I guess not. I'm using a Macbook Pro on Snow Leopard with Adobe Premiere CS5. Any idea how I can install an Asian language pack?
