Thread: Media Literacy Project

    Default Media Literacy Project

This past semester in my media literacy course, we had to complete an assignment which required us to make a movie trailer on a fictional movie, an actual movie, or a parody of one. Well, we had to do this assignment in groups, and mine was a group of three. This video was very quickly done, and has tons of fixer uppers. I wish I had more time for this project as well as better actors, but oh well.

Just wanted to point out that this video displays my first, very feeble attempt at creating muzzle flashes, and also my first attempt at creating a compressed gas bullet hit. The tutorial for this effect can be found at
http://exposure.co.uk/eejit/blood/index.html in case anyone wanted to know. Well, that's all, I think.

You can find the video at http://frozenfilms.iconrate.net/ by clicking on the "videos" link, and then on the "Forrest Gump" link under the parody column

We had to work with what we had. Not too many kids these days have white suits. We did that gunshot scene 3 times, 3 different shirts, and in all of them he was smiling.
