As the topic suggests, whenever I convert an AVI to an MPEG1/2/4, the video has a bright white fog over it. If I record the AVI in 32bit color instead of 16bit (preferred) some colors are even funny due to the high intensity white. Is this normal?
I am an avid gamer (PC) and my clan and I are quite good. I recently decided to use Fraps to start recording us in-game. This records rather large AVI files, but they play FINE in WIndows Media Player. Then when I use Nero 6.6 Ultra to burn it to SVCD, everything is super-bright. I have also used WinProducer3 to convert the AVI to MPEG, and it has the same effect. Same goes for TMPGEnc!
I have dumped a lot of money on software and am at a loss. I can use Fraps to record a short video of myself in-game and then the end result after using TMPGEnc. Does anybody have any ideas?
