    Default DV Capturing?

Is it possible to capture a DV to my PC via USB? If so, what software/drivers enable me to do this?

I've got a firewire port on my PC, I just can't find the cable for it.

    Ovie:

What Marc is saying basically that you need to stay well away from capturing using USB. WAY, WAY too many things go wrong.

Firewire cables are easily purchased at many electronic or computer stores and not expensive at all. Here in States around $1 a foot roughly. Your software that you are using to capture should have everything else you need to recognize your camera once you are hooked up since your computer already has the firewirecard installed with the drivers.

    Find it

USB is crap for capturing digital video. It can make the footage from a 2,000 camera look like it was filmed on a webcam.
