Thread: BBC Weather. From green screen to giant monitor?

Default BBC Weather. From green screen to giant monitor?

It looks to me as if the BBC's weather reporting studio has changed. I thought I had got used to enjoying seeing the occasional green blur around the presenter's head. But, in the last few weeks; it seems to have changed. The reports now seem to be made in front of a large TV monitor. Now I sometimes see shadows from the presenter, and the occasional reflection of shiny watches and bald heads on the glass monitor.

If you're seeing a bald head reflected in the monitor perhaps a wig would be in order or at least a hat.

    Sorry couldn't resist it.

You are right, when they moved to the new "News Centre" you can see the "Weather Centre" over the shoulder of the news reader, if the camera angle is right.
