Default Help with slowmo experiment please

    Hi all,
I'm wanting to see what kind of effect I can get with the following: I've reduced a small section of footage so that each frame lasts about a second. I'd like to now create a cross fade between these frames. Unfortunately, when I try to dry one frame over the last, it 'snaps' back an entire frame length. I've tried turning off the snap but that doesn't help. Is there a way around this? It strikes me that I might have to render it like this to get the framerate back up and then re-edit it.
This is only an experiment to see what the effect will look like.

I don't know if this will help but have you disabled resample?

Right click the clip and select properties to do this.

expand the view on the timeline to make the individual frames bigger...disable auto ripple
