Default Is Lenovo w530 with 320GD hard drive and 8 gb ram adequate for HD?

I don't use MovieMaker, I use Serif Movieplusx6 - I don't knwo how to get rid of that moviemaker note. have no idea how that got in there.

I am a novice - so I am looking for feedback if the system listed below is adequate. I am considering buying it.

    LENOVO W530

I am not too knowledgeable about technology.

Please let me know if you see any problems with this computer.

I know it’s it the most expensive but my budget is only for $1000.

Lenovo is telling me this is made for imaging specifically. That the graphicsetc are powerful enough that it is considered a mobile workstation.

I am just a novice. Isthe 320GB hard drive big enough to start with?

Later I can add an external harddrive or the dvd player in this one canbe swapped out for a second harddrive.

This will automatically change when you have done some more posts.
The only advice I would give you about your set up is to take out the DVD drive and put in a 120Gb SSD for your OS and programs.

I like the 11.3 hours run time on the battery - I assume that would be if the lid is down the whole time lol
