Can't anyone offer any help on an estimated time for rendering a 40 minute video in Pinnacle 8 with little or no transitions...

    Thanks

What are you're output settings? If I remember rightly, you posted before and it was taking > 12 hours. This isn't right! When you say render, do you mean actually encoding?

When I select the option to a create disc the program says 'Rendering Please Wait'... I wait and I wait and I wait, 24 hours in total and nothing!

On the other hand it only takes an hour to create an MPEG...

    Any ideas?

As I answered to a similar problem posted in the "Pinnacle Studio" forum: I had the problem too and had to kill "Norman Virus Control" to get it to work.
