A little montage of where I live, Hayes - a typically cold, wet and miserable day.

Wow, really nice...Video and place I mean!!! What are the chances of getting two red Minis on the same corner???

As MB said, your work is always very interesting! Elegant would be the right word!!

And Hayes seems to be a very nice place to live.... Ill have a look at Google Earth to find where Hayes is in UK. Iv been to UK just 2 times, no more than 15 days.... So much left to see!!

Clearly not the Hayes where I my dad used to take me trainspotting on the GWR with the massive EMI building! I thought you'd moved for a minute.

    (It's a different Hayes, Tony)

I love your use of the camera Marc, always a pleasure to watch.

Wow, MARC !! That video was splendid! Great music and camera.. i really got to sense the FILM look - what have you shot it with ? And did you went only with basic color grading ?

Sorry Tony, it's the Hayes in Kent.

As with all my little videos, i used a canon 550d with various lenses. It was a horrible, overcast day and everything looked very grey when i was filming (hard to get excited or inspired when it's like that, but at keast yiu can see the viewfinder!). iI added contrast and threw in a little bit of red use magic bullet looks. A few shots have an added vignette.

Interestingly, I put the music on as an complete afterthought. I was going to go with a ambient sound only, but when I put this over the top, it just worked as is. No cutting to the music here .

The sun has broken over the horizon for the first time in weeks so I went out in to the metropolitan centre of what is known as Haxby, my village.

This was a hard brief for me, I hope it gives you a flavour of the place.

Wow. It looks great! I just wonder why you made it so short! Liked the idea of your girl filming too...

OK, two videos of beautiful and calm cities until now!!! Maybe I should pretend that I live somewhere else!!!

    It's only a small village.
