    Default Sparkling colors

    Hello!

I'm having lots of troubles with some clips i'm working with.
I don't know why but some colors are sparkling too much!

I don't know how to attach an example, otherwise i would do it!

Anybody knows how to fix this?

    Thanks in advance!

Go on ... tell us what software you are using ...

COMPAQ something or other with 500Gb Boot Disk, 1Tb external Firewire Disk, 4Gb Memory and a super duper sound card, 19" TFT Monitor etc etc etc
    Sony TRV33e : Sony TRV310e : Canon XM2
Sony Vegas Studio editions to v11

I'm working with ppro 1.5. The project is standard PAL.
I've been playing with some plugins trying to reduce the sparkling and i've found the Convolution Kernel (video effects/adjust) that helped me a lot.
Am i going on the right direction?

Unfortunately I am not a Premiere Pro user, although I do use Premier Elements.

When I have a colour problem, using Elements I apply a Color balance (RGB) filter, perhaps that would help.

Could one of our rather kind Premiere Pro experts pick up on this one?

    Thanks

I'm a Premiere Pro user but I'm afraid a long way from an expert. I'm not sure what you mean by colours sparkling. However, I find the "auto color" filter very good for when the colour of a clip looks wrong. (in the effects palette, "video effects->adjust->autocolor")

You might also want to try the 'broadcast colours' filter as well.
