Default Random Green blocks on burns...

I 've burnt 4 copies of a 80 minute wedding video. I've watched one burnt copy all the way through... no probs.

I've visual fast forwarded through the other 4 copies and they seem to be ok, but I'm not really wanting to sit through the same wedding 3 more times, just to check the discs.

However, I noticed on one disc, when I stopped and played at the normal speed, a small green square appeared on the screen, and the disc stuttered a bit.... is this because it's not rendered properly, or the poor choice of media (Sigma DVD-R) I've choosen? :

BTW, the burner is using the latest firmware...

What speed did you burn at? What was the bitrate of the MPEG? Ever had this problem before on that DVD player?

    1 x speed, with a variable bitrate....

I was kinda hoping the slower you burnt, the more stable the copies.

What was the max bitrate? Does the artifact appear when you repeat with the same DVD on a PC?

Looks like its the labels I'm sticking on the discs..... works fine without, but put a label on and it's hit and miss

Good job I just bought a printer which prints straight onto the discs!
