    Default Waveform showing incorrect

So I have problem with Vegas Pro 11 audio waveforms, how they are shown. Here are pictures, marked area for better seeing
    zoomin.jpgzoomout.jpg
When I insert audio, waveforms creates and is showing like in 2nd picture, but when i zoom-in at some point, waveforms shown different.
The correct waveform is in 1st picture when i play audio. In the 2nd pic, 2nd audio from top is pushed to the left, 1st audio from top is OK.

These are 2 separate audios, I need them to tune them.
Both audios are mp3, but different bitrate

Have you got one audio event on top of another one or is that a selected event or loop region that is blue ?

It is selected just to show you whats the difference, how much they move to left.

I'm sorry I'm not really understanding what exactly is happening. As what I understand from your first post seems imposible.

So, ok, i made video with example showing 1correct and 2incorrect audio waves, maybe this will help you to understand.

Day before this issue came, audio waves were showing good. I changed Control Panel>Sound>Playback> Properties >Enchantments>Bass Boost, but restored settings after 5min, and changed Proterpies>Advanced, 5min after changed back to default.

I took a look at your video, I found it confusing and I could hardly hear what you were saying but right at the end I think I saw the issue you are having.

My observations are that your PC or is it a laptop, is not very fast. This could be an issue if it is "on the limit" with just audio files. It could be that doing a thorough house keeping, clearing disks of junk, de-fragmenting, cleaning the registry, up-date drivers etc.. might help but that is about all I could gleam from your video.

I could have missed something and there may be preferences that you could set that might help but I'm not familiar enough with these to know what they might be.

    Sorry if this isn't helpful.

    Lightbulb solved

Ok, I tried 2 more .mp2 files, but they too glitching.
    Here are mp2 audio info
File type MPEG ADTS, layer II, v1, 192 kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo

Bitstream type (bs) MPEG-1 Layer II
    Frames (bs) 158,155
    Duration (bs) 01:03:16 (3795.72 s)
    Bitrate (bs) 192 kbps CBR
    Sampling frequency (bs) 48000 Hz
    Mode (bs) stereo
    Padding (bs) No
    Emphasis (bs) none
    Internal skip (bs) 37,608 bytes
    Final skip (bs) 384 bytes
And Vegas don't like my friends .mpa audio file
File type MPEG ADTS, layer II, v1, 192 kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo

Bitstream type (bs) MPEG-1 Layer II
    Frames (bs) 200,088
    Duration (bs) 01:20:02 (4802.112 s)
    Bitrate (bs) 192 kbps CBR
    Sampling frequency (bs) 48000 Hz
    Mode (bs) stereo
    Padding (bs) No
    Emphasis (bs) none
    Internal skip (bs) 7,710 bytes
    Final skip (bs) 96 bytes
CreativeCOW said, that project needs to match audio bitrate, but that didn't fix it.
    Project audio settings:
    Master bus mode: Stereo
    Number of stereo busses: 0
    Sample rate (Hz): 48.000
    Bit depth: 16
    Resample and stretch quality: Good
By what I see, Vegas don't like MPEG-1 Layer 2, it just get along with MPEG-1 Layer 3.

Ok I converted .mp2 to .mp3 VBR with BeSweet v1.5b31 and got this. Drag and dropped and audio doesn't glitch out.
File type MPEG ADTS, layer III, v1, 128 kbps, 48 kHz, JntStereo

Bitstream type (bs) MPEG-1 Layer III
Encoder (bs) LAME3.90. (Made with BeSweet v1.5b31)
    Frames (bs) 199,762
    Duration (bs) 01:19:54 (4794.288 s)
    Bitrate (bs) 171.610456 kbps VBR
    Sampling frequency (bs) 48000 Hz
    Mode (bs) joint stereo
    Padding (bs) No
    Emphasis (bs) none
    Final skip (bs) 128 bytes
And .mpa according to how to batch mpa --->mp2 without belight? [Archive] - Doom9's Forum is the same as .mp2, so renamed it and encoded with BeLight i got same as previous .mp3 . Imported it to Vegas, and audio did not glitched out.
